Steve, >I just bought a C- 80 tonight after reading some of the good reviews >on those inks also on the 9000 list and am making a profile . I will >let you know. I'm very curious about that printer. Going back to 4 inks may be the way to go for many uses, including the quad printers. Very compact dots of more concentrated ink may achieve better "aggregation" (compaction of the crystals so that they protect each other from oxidation) than the light inks and thus fade less. (Is a 3000 replacement with that technology next?) Could you make 2 standard 21-step test strips on EAM for me? I'd love to see how good the black is and how the combination will do in my fader. I think Epson is now using non-polymer-coated black. I wonder if it is "enhanced" like the Generations -- i.e., has dye added. Paul http://www.PaulRoark.com
