You'd also find that when Eboni is diluted it no longer has the "Eboni"
look.  It looks just like the other dilute carbon inks -- quite warm.

Once there are pre-made profiles for the UT-3D inkset (see
http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/UT-3D_Readme.pdf),  you'd be able to easily
use those.  I have no doubt that the inkset can duplicate the tones you like
and will run on the 1280, but I have no immediate plans to buy a 1280 and
write the profiles.  So, doing it yourself is an option, but it may be more
complicated than you want.
