Re: Inkpress Papers

2006-05-25 by AdventureCam Photo

I found your rant quite amusing. Man, you're going to give yourself ulcers.
The question for you is why you would attack someone who helped answer a
list member's question when you obviously have no interest in the product
that was the subject of the thread? It seems that you're the one with the
stake in sales of papers since you hide behind your wall of anonimity
supporting Wilhelm and enthusiastically deterring people from buying papers
that don't have his stamp of approval. Sounds rather suspicious to me. Oh,
and by the way, when I have a question about Inkpress products, I speak
directly to the vice president of the company, that's why I offered to
answer anyone's questions.

MJP, "Perhaps you were expecting Henry Wilhelm himself to answer a

question that no one else did. I'm sure you would have trusted his

opinion even though he has more of a stake in the sale of papers than

anyone on this planet.Or perhaps you could have taken the time to use

your energy in a positive way and do the reasearch necessary to help

someone, but I guess it makes you feel more powerful to be cynical

and question someone's ethics."

Not exactly, It just saves me money to be cynical about

manufacturer's claims.

You see, you wrote, "I spoke with my Inkpress rep and was told the

Inkpress Luster is the same as Epson's as far as fade resistance and

longevity.

LOL!. What reports did the rep offer? How does the rep know what he

or she is talking about? What reports other than his or her boss's

word has the rep seen. Did the rep describe in detail how the fade

resistance and "longevity" of inkpress papers are tested? (Wilhelm

does) Where are the results published?

Ever heard the words, "KODAK paper"? They said about the same thing

about their products.

Question? Why is it fine for you to call Wilhelm's ethics into the

conversation and not fine for me to be skeptical about a salespersons

report to you?

You wrote, "Contact me off line if you have other questions about

Inkpress products."

Uh huh.

About helping other people,

YO PEOPLE . . .CAVEAT EMPTOR

But most folks here already know that so I don't feel I need to say

much about it.
