I've made good progress is profiling the UT-3D inkset with Photoshop curves. One trick is to start with R=G=B, where the maximum LK and LLK will be injected. At any rate, this link shows some results with Crane Silver Rag: http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/CSR_2400.jpg As the graph shows, I just followed the paper Lab (a, b) values until the shadows, where I dropped the tone to the cool black (about 2.3 dmax).
