Digital BW, The Print

Hi everybody, I am new to this group which I discovered through
Claytons BxW site.

I just purchased a 2400 , its my first real printer and I was
astonished to see how much ink I was using and the cost of replacement
cartridges, I decided the CFS system was the way to go, ( it arrives
tomorrow ).

After 0rdering a color set with Eboni matte black I decided to check
out the downloadable installation guide from M.I.S., ( should have
done this first ), then I see I have to run the printer every other
day to stop the lines from clogging, I think this may be a little
overkill for my needs, they did mention a autorun program that you can
schedule to run a test print when not in use, though I am having
trouble getting it to work as it doesn't accept my username/password.

Anyway here are my questions......

Is the CFS a good system ?

Should I get refillable Ink cartridges instead ?

Is the universal black any good ? , I would like to print on a lustre
surface now and again.

And finally, how is M.I.S. regarding returns ? 

Thank you so much, this forum is great and I am learning a lot
although I am at the bottom of the learning curve and it can get quite
tecnical.
