This sounds like the paper was upside-down and the ink got on the wrong side. Is that a possibility? Tim, Oddly enough, I just noticed the same thing last night printing with QTR on the Epson 4000. The QTR images smudge and leave black ink on my hands but using the Epson software all is fine (except for the bad color cast.) I'm using the Ultrachrom inks and Epson Premium Luster paper. No idea whats causing it but it has put an end to my b&w image sales until I can resolve it. Have you talked to the software author yet? Joe www.joemamer.com > It's a pretty new printer.
