Digital BW, The Print

I read on the atlex.com page that ILFORD Galerie Classic Pearl Photo
Paper is a , none "instant dry" type paper. And dose not suffer from 
"gas fading" like those types of paper under similar conditions .
Since Ilford Smooth Gloss Photo and ILFORD Galerie Smooth Pearl are
Instant dry (nonporous) papers dose this mean they won't last as long
without fading? And how much is the improvement with ILFORD Galerie
Classic Pearl using dye inks ? I plan to use this paper for black and
whites.
