Hello Tyler, I've received a FTP link and I've downloaded a file that is supposed to be 1520/3000 compatible. I've got to rearrange things and install the new black head, so it'll probably be the middle of the week before I get that sorted out. I got Quadtone inks and they looked very good to me without the black printing (Corel 9). The only other problem I might be having is that the black reservoir was really caked-up and my flushing hasn't cleared it completely. Thanks for the help and this is a wonderfull group. Soon, I hope to be where everyone else was 10 years ago!!! : ) Re; beginner paper. I picked up some Inkpress matte 80 in 13x19 to get the 3000 and 1270 sorted out for B&W. I plan to refill the 1270 K with leftover quadtone black and try BO - switching to MIS Ebony in couple weeks. What's a good scratch paper and what's a logical step-up for student priced final prints?? If you can you elaborate, maybe I have what you need... Tyler --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Gary W.
