Start by reading the manual. All is explained in B&W. ;-)

4800 Margin Problems Please Help!

Yesterday I received a new 4800 to add to my small stable of other
printers which also includes a R2400. Everything went fine until I
tried to print a few photos at my standard portfolio print size. My
process is to use Photoshop CS2 to upsize my image to 12.2" x 18.3".
I then add a 20px keyline border around the image, increase the
canvas size to 13" x 19" and add a copyright line on the bottom right
corner, outside the margin of the keyline. This configuration worked
fine on my R2400 where I was using 13" x 19" cut sheets, but I've
failed in my attempts to create the same prints on my 4800.

On the 4800, the short side of the paper (the last to leave the
printer) has a 16mm non-printable margin. On the leading short side
that margin is only 6mm. Because of this, the bottom portion of my
photos is not being printed. I've tried this with borderless turned
on and off as well as used a multitude of different combinations in
the print settings. In some cases, in CS2 Print with Preview, the
whole image is showing up fine in the preview window, but with the
Print Preview that comes with the Epson software enabled, that bottom
edge is always showing up as being cut off. Can anyone help me out
and offer any advice as to how I can correct this problem and get
started using this magnificent machine?

Thanks,
