It may well be that the printers shaking on the stands helps avoid settling in large format printer carts. The first time I heard of a problem with apparent settlement was on a UT1 machine that was on a desk. My 7500 with the more modern inks (just updated the FSN+, by the way), appears to have no cart settlement issues. (It does have a separation in the tubes.) By the way, I just heard from a 4000 owner who reports that the MIS autoprint program (see http://www.inksupply.com/cobra.cfm#ap ) was effective in avoiding the separation issue on his 4000. So, I'll try to set up one for the 7500 and see how it works.
