Hello Kevin, >It talks about selecting "Manual-Roll" and sure enough, you have to >choose this option in the Page Setup "Paper Size". For example, US >Letter has an arrow that lets you further specify paper where you >would choose "US Letter, Manual-Roll". >After I pick this I can choose Velvet from the Print Setup menu. This sounds real strange. Maybe it's different on a Mac. I just hit Ctrl-P and up pops the printer window. I select the 2400, then the Properties button and up pops the driver window. On the Main tab is the paper list and everything is available. >But it warns you to load paper in the rear manual slot. That happens to me as well, but then I click OK and go back to the picklist and reselect "Sheet" and go ahead and use the top feeder, for everything from 1/4 sheets to 13x19. Even real thick papers. They usually require a little nudge to get it started. Also I bend a small bit of curl to the leading edge. Once you get the knack you can make it take anything. The rear feeder is quite strange and finicky and I never use it. If you save the settings you can just pick your custom settings from the list and you won't get the feeder warning (this is described in article #9).
