Epsons lk inks were designed primarily to improve performance for color printing- they can do a longer GCR which helps a number of persistant problems. That it improves B&W printing and allowed them to put an IP style ABW mode in the driver was no doubt icing on the cake. But those densities are clearly a bit less than ideal if considered for B&W performance alone. Certainly better than 2 ks though. Tyler
