Yes, but the C and M channels are switched, and the toner is slightly lower
gamut.  The UT2 carbon inks (M and LM) are exactly the same as the UT7
carbons (C and LC).  The sepia toners are identical, as are the black inks.
So, the only old UT2 ink you will not be able to use is the cool toner, UT2
C and LC.

Dirk Hobman made some curves.  

Today I'd put the curves into ICCs.  See

That takes a lot of work out of the job by taking care of the final
linearization.  With the linearization taken care of, it may be that curves
for the 2200 or 7600 and UT7 are close enough to just dump into the ICCs.  I
have not tried this, but it would be one experiment I'd definitely do to see
if there were, as a practical matter, a number of curves already made.
