Digital BW, The Print

Im in the need for a new printer (have been without one for quite some
time) and only do B&W printing. Where I live, the Epson 2200 is no
longer available, new or refurbished, so I tend to be left with the
2400 as my primary choice. This in itself isnt so much a problem but I
would prefer to print B&W with a greyscale inkset.

Is it likely in the forseeable future that 3rd party greyscale inksets
will be available for the 2400 printer?
