Thanks Carl, those are good examples of different filters. The Hoya R72 seems to allow you to use a much higher shutter speed than the others. I think with a little playing around in photoshop I could get the skies a bit darker, and probably come close to the B&W 93 filter. To use 1/4th of a second or less would make the trees here a bit blurry, because there is always a wind. But I'll start out with the Hoya and go from there. Jeryr
