I could NOT get my 1280 to work well with MIS carts, specifically Eboni Black. I tried and tried all sorts of 'tricks'. Nothing worked. (It was fine with Epson carts.)I wound up selling the printer on Ebay and buying a used 2200 for BO printing. My understanding is that for whatever reason a few people seem to have no clogging issues. BTW, if you only new to make 8.5X11 size prints, the 220 is an amazing buy!
