Digital BW, The Print

I saw the Walker Evans show this week and I was flabbergasted! The quality of the prints is 
very high, both conventional & inkjet are wonderful, and I found two inkjet prints that 
showed micro-banding and one that had posterization in the shadow area. IMHO these prints 
were fatally flawed and should not have been on exhibit, they detracted from the other high 
quality prints on display.
With all the press I've seen about this exhibit, I am suprised that no one has mentioned these 
prints. Are people seeing the work?
I will leave it to others to argue about re-interpreting Evans work, I enjoyed the show. and if 
Digital printing is to be accepted then the craftmanship must be flawless.
