Ernst, I have not personally used Autoprint. However, reports from a 4000 user suggest it takes care of the blended ink tone drift. My problem with that approach is that I don't leave my systems on when I'm gone or even over night. Additionally, the lack of a paper tray on the printers would require a roll of paper be left on the printer, and I don't want to waste the paper. I suppose I could fit butcher paper onto a roll to save the good paper. How do you disable the cleaning cycles at start up? I have used it some time now on a quad 9000 and a 10000 with MIS 7600 ink. On the last I have taken out the nozzle control/cleaning stage at start up etc and so far I have more consistency from the Autoprints than from the excessive cleanings. Do you have a similar experience ? Ernst -- Ernst Dinkla www.pigment-print.com ( unvollendet ) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
