Hi Paul, Thank you for your speedy reply! (Last time we exchanged e-mails when I bought my Epson 3000). The key problem now is the SW/driver conflict, the fact that my printer (under Epson v.1 driver) is all about to start but immediately stops the print job. Once I solve this, the rest will be much easier. I agree with you that, mechanically, the 2000P printer is a good workhorse.
