The i1 needs more power than my USB port seemed to deliver; it would not always work. After adding a hub with an external power supply to power the USB bus, it works reliably now. A second thought is to try using a different high quality USB cable. Sorry this is so ambiguous. A third thought is to plug it into a motherboard USB port on your desktop PC (if you are currently using a front panel connector that goes though a likely poor quality cable from the motherboard). I keep getting a calibration error when either trying to use iMatch or Measure Tool. The expensive doorstop has been checked by UK service department and sent to Switzerland. No fault found. I mainly use it with my G4 Powerbook running 10.3.9 I have also tried it on my PC under windows XP. Same problem on both computers. I have a clean installation on both. Interestingly in Measure Tool using spot measure it works ! It keeps failing when trying to measure a chart. Ocasionally it works but not for long. This is driving me nuts. Any ideas.
