Don't know about the 2400, but it's certainly true with the 2200: VFA (and 
other good matte papers) will not show up unless the matte cartridge is 
installed.

Hmm, do you have matte black or photo black ink installed?  VFA is a
matte paper, maybe it doesn't show up with PK installed.  Does anyone
else know about this?
