The carts are the same, but the auto-reset chip is not. Still, one could buy the R2400 chips from MIS at $15 each and have the setup for about $200. You might be able to sell the R1800 auto-reset chips and get some of that back. But why should the R1800 set be 57.99 (a fair price ) and the R2400 set $ 269? makes no sense. One thing I'd point out: the auto-reset chip means you never know how much ink you really have. You would need to check dilligently to avoid running the head dry, that could easily damage your head.
