Digital BW, The Print

I have left my MIS ink in my Epson 1280 for 1 year without making a print. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to start working with the printer again? I have run the print head cleaning utility but I still get light streaks when I print. I hope it is just that I need to purchase new ink cartridges, but I am not sure if it affected the print head or not.

>MIS Eboni ink is for matte papers only...Yes, be sure you're using Photo Black ("PK") with Kirkland glossy paper. Iprefer the PKN, which is a neutralized PK that gives a higher dmax. MISonly seems to sell the one I mixed specifically for the C8X in bulk fromhttp://www.inksupply.com/bw/roarkslab. Actually, my favorite PK is Epson UCPK.
