>I have left my MIS ink in my Epson 1280 for 1 year without making a print. ... You'll be lucky if you can save that one. I am using a 2200 that was stored that way for probably about the same amount of time. Cleaning cycles did nothing. What finally worked were carts with Windex in them. After sitting several hours, the nozzles were clean. I was amazed. I'm told the ammonia in the Windex is too strong to leave in the heads for very long, but if nothing else works, there isn't much harm in leaving it as long as it takes. (Use cheap glossy paper to see the nozzle check lines if all the ink is out of the head.) Good luck. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
