Digital BW, The Print

The MIS system uses a Windows only software program to reset the chip on
the 1280.  What MIS doesn't tell you is that
you can run Windows on the Mac using VirtualPC http://www.connectix.com/
.  I have done it.
IMHO a superior  CFS is made by CIS http://www.nomorecarts.com/ .
CIS supplies a replacement microchip that shows the printer as 100% full
no matter how much ink is used.
