I'm not sure about a glossary of terms, but there is an orientation of
sorts (I call it an overview) at the link below that may help you get
started.  It's a series of articles, the first two are more general
and the rest get into more specific areas.  There is one that's a
review of popular matte papers.  Others focus on specific printers and
techniques, etc.  It is all specific to BW printing.
