Funny,
  I wonder how many "newbies" like us are here but not asking these simple questions
  that are important to understanding the pros' lingo? I just joined last week and immediately became lost in the alphabet soup of the group! Google searches were not quite accurate, but the sites recently noted by the group were in fact excellent! Thank you for the great referrals after a stumbling start!

I was about to open a new topic on exactly this issue. I have
recently started using Piezography Neutral K7 inks with my Epson 2200
and found this group in short order.

I am not sure if eddiegnz1 is talking about the same thing, but here
is a sample of some recently used terms that are not clear to me yet:

"IJC", "ABW mode", "4K" (4 black inks??), "OPM", "4000 NK", "GQuad",
"HPR", "EEM" (Epson Enhanced Matte??), "OBA", "split-tone";
