My apologies for jumping to the wrong conclusion. The fact is, I spent a fair amount of time trying to see if the glass or plexi (I couldn't tell which) was the source of the bands I saw. I jockeyed around trying to locate long, horizontal scratches in the glazing. I should have mentioned that possibility in my post. In any case, the quality of the prints was so high something anomalous was clearly at work. I walked away with the impression of meticulous craftsmanship and reverence for Evans' work. Thanks for clarifying this. I wish I hadn't mentioned it, it's a minor detail about a great exhibit. What I should have said instead was that I was inspired. If I remember correctly, the prints are on exhibit through Friday. Anyone within range ought to make time to see it. -David
