Hi Richard I just had a banding problem on an R220 when printing on heavy stock (HPR 308). Nozzle checks were fine and printing on EAM didn't show banding. It turned out that I needed to realign the heads (using the maintenance function supplied with the printer drivers) for a thicker paper. I didn't manage to completely remove the banding from the HPR prints but it's much less pronounced and quite difficult to see. (I realise this is a completely different printer, but might help you solve your problems.) Good luck Chris --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Richard Smallfield <r.smallfield@...> wrote: > > Hi, > I'm doing some proofs before a large mural on my 2100 ... they have started to show banding in spite of a clear nozzle check. > > What should I do next???? > > thanks, > Richard > -- > http://smallfield.vze.com > http://photos.smallfield.vze.com (Photos web site) > http://warkworth.vze.com/ (Warkworth photo essay) > > > "We first make our habits, and then our habits make us." > --John Dryden >
