Premium Glossy has worked fine for our customers and the profiles we've 
made for them.  I know others who use Premium Semigloss instead.

I hope I'm not "teaching my grandmother to suck eggs" here and I might 
get flamed for saying this but, in most cases, it does not matter what 
paper type you choose in the driver for printing the target on glossy 
paper so long as you use exactly the same settings once you use that 
profile for real world printing.  The different paper types /may/ 
(usually /will/) print out slightly different coloured squares on the 
target - sometimes these differences are inperceptable by the naked eye 
- but these are brought back to the "correct" colour by the profiling 
software.  Afterall, that's what profiling is all about: getting the 
printer to reproduce a known colour based on the readings produced by 
the photospectrometer, no matter what shade that colour might be on the 
original printed target.

So, in theory, you can print with Premium Glossy, Premium Semigloss or 
Premium Lustre.  Just keep the paper type consistent when you print with 
the profile.

Have I made something simple even more confusing now?  CD ... help me 
out.  You're a lot more eloquent with words than I am in most cases and 
certainly when it comes to your specialist field. ;-)
