Bob, just a note. I had tried a simulation of HIE IR film in several of my IRs with information from someone who shoots both digital and film. I would have to find the URL again. The ones I did have a much different look from my 'normal' digital IR's. I just looked at the pages you suggested---interesting--I guess I glossed over that at some point LOL. Looks like IR film, though, with its lovely, indistinct quality rather than the equally wonderful pin-sharpness of digital IR.
