In my experience with 2200s, 1270s, and 7500s the alignment process was ambiguous at best. On the 7500, especially, the alignment pattern was difficult to decipher and the changes seemed to have little effect. Am I alone on this? Enough time spent behind a lupe looking at alignment patterns will give anyone a headache. I'm surprised Epson or someone else (Maybe 3rd party?) hasn't developed a better, more reliable alignment procedure. YMMV. Rick
