Paul, I don't have much experience with acrylic, but using an Ilford anti static cloth has worked marvelously for me for years when framing with glass. It's my understanding that they have been treated with a fluid and they do loose some effectiveness after a lot of use. The other thing I'd try is a Kinetronics brush. I use them for cleaning 4x5 backs and for film before I drum scan. Might need a large one, which is not especially inexpensive.
