Digital BW, The Print

or the epson driver will bypass the ICC when ABW is used? 

I know the question is basic, but couldn't find an answer in the
archives. 

I tried using an icc (provided by the paper company) with ABW, and
didn't like the results.  Before investing paper, ink, time and energy
in testing, I decided to ask.
