I restored a few hundred of the the NYT archives' photos, working for Palm Press, Inc. in Concord, MA. They produce many, many of these photos, and they are all fiber-based B&W's, from one of the (other) best labs in the country. They are great prints. -- Regards, Bill Morse Wm.
