New York Times Store OT?

New York Times Store OT?

2006-12-11 by Andre Moreau

The New York Times has a most interesting on-line photo store with
photographs dating back to at least 1860.

http://www.nytstore.com/ProdCode.aspx?prodcode=791

One unframed 16"x20" black and white digital print of Elvis is offered
at $1000 unframed. Was it printed by an inkjet printer or some other
method, I don't know.

There are also "Compact Classics" b&w prints offered as Giclees at $89.00

Cheers,
Andre

Not sure of other photographs but (shameless plug here) we do some of
the Beatles prints for them, they are all fiber based black and
whites, from original negs.

I restored a few hundred of the the NYT archives' photos, working for Palm
Press, Inc. in Concord, MA.

They produce many, many of these photos, and they are all fiber-based B&W's,
from one of the (other) best labs in the country.

They are great prints.
