Jerry-- I have also switched to the K4 inks and spongeless carts. My experience is that i often need to run several cleaning cycles after filling. The LM seems to be the worst culprit (FWIW, it was also LM that would never clear in a prior 1280). However, once it has "taken," I've not had any clogs to speak of. I suspect that the 30 minutes or so that it takes to fill and reset the carts may allow some ink to dry on the heads (I usually do all at the carts at once), so I may experiment by putting an OEM cart in place while i fill the MIS carts. Hope this helps. -matt > Hi, > > I've just started converting my r2400 from Epson OEM inks to MIS K4 > refillable cartridges (spongeless).
