David,
I am new to B/W printing and have been reading the post to ather knowledge. I am using the epson 2200 printer and keep reading about the monochrome inkset. I can not find out any information on this can you lead me in the right direction?
Kindest Regards,
Kurt

David:
I haven't done a lot of printing yet, but I have been able to coax
Moab Emntrada 190 gsm and Arches Infinity 230 gsm through the printer
without too much trouble. If I recall, this was true when I first
started printing on the R200, and things got progressively worse over
the course of a couple of weeks. I wish Epson would make a pro quality
small format hextone printer. I think the R1800 has a rear loading
slot for thicker paper, so this may be an option. The 2400 is a
possibility, but who wants to juggle 7 inks to print B&W with a
monochrome inkset?
