Re: [Digital BW] Epson 880 vs 890

Don,

Thanks. What software are you using? I'm starting from scratch -- can you tell me all that I need? I have PC's with tons of memory & speed, so that should not be a constraint (until tomorrow!)

Cheers,

Carl

I have been using the Epson 880 for about a month or so now. I am using the prefilled MIS VM inks and getting great results. The Epson 880 cartridges do not have "chips" on them so it is very easy to use the carts from MIS. I'm sure the 880 will work fine for B&W. I have never used color inks in this printer and probably won't, so I'm not sure how color prints will look but the B&W ones look great.
However, your results may vary depending on how many of those Guinness's you consume before printing. Bottoms up !!!
    Good luck
    Don
