  Carl -- I use Photoshop 6.0 (on PC)
  and I just use the print drivers that come with the Epson 880. I use "custom" menu on Epson printer setup software, select paper ( I use Epson Matte Heavyweight) set dpi to "Photo 1440" Gamma to "1.8". I don't adjust sliders until I review first print.

  Go to MIS site (inksupply .com) http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/quadcart.html#880      I use the Variable Mix set but you may want to look around that site and pick a different ink set according to your own tastes. Which ever ink set you decide on you will need to order 2 cartridges (one for black, one for "color" spots in the printer)

  The rest is experimenting.
