Hi Folks, I'm having a problem with QTR and the manual rear sheet feed on my new Epson 2400. This is the Manual Rear Feed (Roll) setting in QTR. On my system/printer the paper is not positioned correctly when it starts printing. Instead of positioning the paper to center the image, it begins printing even before the far left edge of the paper is under the print head, then continues printing. The particular image I printed had a landscape orientation. I have not tried printing an image with a portrait orientation (although I wouldn't think that should matter). The final printed image is shifted to the far left side of the paper instead of being centered. The same image prints just fine when I print directly from Photoshop using the rear sheet feed on the 2400. QTR positions the paper and prints from the top sheet feeder on my 2400 just fine. QTR also works fine when I use the rear sheet feed on my Epson 2200. I am using the latest version of QTR on a Windows XP system. I've posted this problem to the QTR forum and got a response from one other person having the same problem. Roy Harrington isn't aware of this a known problem and so I'm trying to find out if others are experiencing it and then provide feedback to Roy. So, for anyone using QTR on the Epson 2400 -- please let me know whether the manual rear sheet feed is working for you ok or not. If this is a widespread but little mentioned problem, then I can let Roy know and I'm sure he'll figure out a solution/fix. If not, I'm back to square one (and keeping my 2200 for those heavy fine art papers we love). Thanks alot! Gary Benson Eagle River, Alaska
