Hi Paul. Just curious -- what was the problem you saw with the images printed on Infinity and Museo? The b&w images I print on these are pretty much indestinguishable from prints made on EEM, Premier Art Hot Press, and Moab Entrada when I linearize using transfer curves. I think the dMax I get on Museo is a tad low (~1.58 - 1.6) but this isn't really apparent when viewing the finished print. I *never* see flaking on the Infinity or Museo; the Infinity is slightly smoother, so I find that I use it more often. I like them because they are heavy, smooth, and relatively bright for all-cotton papers without OBAs. Nicely packaged without any camber. I am always looking for new papers, though. I just started testing Hawk Mountain Merlin Natural. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Paul Roark" <paul.roark@...> wrote: > > > >MIS UT-FSN is great stuff, but I do get bronzing on some papers > >(Arches Infinity, Crane Museo, ...). > > I don't think I ever was able to get what I thought was a good image on > those papers. > > > ... replacing the FSN yellow with MIS UT-R2 yellow works > > like a charm. > > That's good to know.
