The full curves are difficult for most. It depends, I think, on how much you're used to using graphs and curves. If they come easily to you and you have a spectro, it's not so bad. The easiest way to move to a new paper is to find the existing curve that gives the best tone and is reasonably linear, then use Create ICC-RGB (part of the QTR download) to do a final linearization and embed the curve in that ICC. It makes a very nice workflow.
