Digital BW, The Print

I swore off anything but OEM inks and paper for my virgin 2200. Having 
suffered through the trials of trying to do dedicated B/W on a 1280 
and non-OEM inks I threw in the towel.  I had no problems over the 
years with a slew of Epson printers (like, never, ever) as long as I 
used OEM. 

Trouble is, with the 2200, QTR and EPL I get more brass than a middle 
school band. The prints really bitch. Anybody got a sure cure for 
bronzing on semigloss or luster papers (Epson's or whatever)? I'd be 
willing to fall off the wagon and use non-OEM blacks. I want to keep 
OEM in the other positions.
