Don't worry about the bad BO results. That's typical for the inexpensive printers. It'll probably be fine with all the gray inks installed. Hello Everybody! I have just received my Epson C88+ printer (D88+ in Europe). Because I am still waiting for package from MIS (with UT-EZ inkset) I tested BO printing with Epson black ink and Epson Photo Semigloss paper. What a dissapointment! Even if blacks don't look as bad as I expected all the rest is a way below my expectations. Very visible banding, greys don't look I would like them to look like... I used picture in greyscale, 360 dpi but format was very small - 8x4 (15x10cm). OK, that was my really really first attempt to BO printing - ink is not right, same paper but... should the result look like that?
