Re: [Digital BW] On or Off?

"Until recently I was turning my 2400 off after each use but got tired of
the
cleaning cycles each time I turned it on . . . ."

Perhaps the 2400 is different than the 2200 but FWIW I turn the 2200 off
except when in use. I was under the impression that leaving it on generated
some heat that could cause the inks to dry out. I don't run cleaning cycles
every time I turn it back on, I just run a cleaning cycle if I have a clog
but I almost never have clogs, maybe a couple times a year if that. However,
I'm certainly open to leaving it on if that's a better practice.

Until recently I was turning my 2400 off after each use but got tired of the
cleaning cycles each time I turned it on. I read here that leaving it on
avoided the cleaning purges so now I leave it on and I believe I'm saving
ink. I haven't seen any clogs by leaving it on.
