The key thing to note about 3800 changes is not how much ink it takes (Epson 
claims virtually none) but the TIME it takes (I'd estimate three minutes). You 
won't possibly miss this process; you'll be well aware when it happens!

Nozzle check doesn't "fix" anything, it just tells you whats broken... <G> 
But sometimes just running a print or two will make things clear up, so its not 
possible to predict what element was the cause...
