I don't have any experience with this plug-in, but, frankly, I'm not sure I'd ever use one of these types of programs. What I do with digital images is simply work in Photoshop and split the channels (see the upper right arrow on the Channels palette). This allows me to look at the information in each channel, and clone into a working grayscale file the best of it from each of the channels. Since the image is the same, it's easy to align the clone tool on the upper left corner, looking at the (x, y) coordinates on information palette. I prefer the control this approach gives.
