Well, Philip, as I said in a previous post, I ran that head alignment check and last time I posted, the cyan pattern was almost perfect. Ran a nozzle check again just now to check the nozzles one more time and now the cyna is perfect. But new problem: nothing shows up in the black nozzle check, nothing at all. The ink supply tab shows the black at less than 20% and says to re-order. In my case that would be a refill. So I got my MIS refill materials out ready to go, but when I initiated the procedure for refill (following the manual) the cartridge carrier did not stop so that the black cartridge was under the refill position.. in fact it only moved about half an inch to the left and stopped. Now what... should I take the cartridge out and refill it anyway? The manual says once the refill procedure is started not to go back. But I _had_ to go back, closed the printer cover. Thanks for any suggestions, Paul
