Digital BW, The Print

What procedure did you use to get the "merged" profile? Have you tried 
the procedure as outlined by Dave Miller from ColorVision. If not, 
read Message # 1637. The procedure will give you a very good profile 
for for color and B&W. I have followed his instructions and then print 
out a Bill Atkinson test image(color) and a Keith Cooper Test image
(B&W) and have found the profiles to be very good. B&W's were very 
neutral.
